I’m sure you have already noticed, but in case you didn’t already know. I love color! One thing I am known for is having colors in my hair. But I can never get it to be the bright color that I am looking for. Even if I pay hundreds of dollars at a salon it never turns out quite right. Not only does my hair not accept color the way I want it, but it also hates bleach. I have not been able to afford to go get my hair done at a salon, so my hair has been paying the price and has been an awful yellowy-orange color that you get when the color washes out. So I was very excited when I found out that I was going to be reviewing Splat Hair Color. I received the Pink Fetish Hair Kit in the mail and immediately got to work on fixing my hair. The kit includes bleach, the pink hair color, and gloves. I was able to do the majority of the work by myself. I put the bleach in by myself and was surprised at how easily my hair had lightened. It normally takes hours even at a salon! Luckily for me I had my sister-in-law to help me with the pink dye so that I didn’t get it all over the house. And I’m glad that she was able to help me because we could tell right away that it was very bright. Which was perfect for my hair, but not for the walls. I left the pink in for an extra 30 minutes over what the instructions suggested so that it would be extra bright and last an extra long time. So after an hour we went to try to rinse it out. I know from experience with bright colors to rinse your hair with cold water to help the color stick. Luckily I had a helper to help me rinse out my hair otherwise it would have been stuck to everything, because rinsing it out made the dye splash everywhere! And even with her help my hands became pink. Even with pink hands I was very happy. I could tell immediately that my hair was a very bright pink. After drying I could confirm that my hair was a brighter shade of pink then any stylist had ever gotten it! I was very surprised not only that my hair looked awesome, but that I was able to do it at home, by myself (with help (: ), and for a fraction of the cost. I will definitely be using splat for all my hair coloring needs from now on! Hopefully I will be able to review some of Splat’s other hair care products for you soon!

Don’t you hate it when your on the go and you don’t have all the necessities on hand? I know I do, and I have an Eco-friendly solution for you. La Fresh’s Eco-Beauty line. When I used it, it left a weird residue on my face. But it did work. These would be great to keep in your purse or even wallet for emergencies, or in a suitcase for short trips.

My favorite was definitely the Nail Polish Remover as it did what it was supposed to, while smelling great! which is something that is very hard to find.

I don’t know about you, but I love to read. I love anything from romance novels, to fantasy, and even adventure. A couple of weeks ago I ran across a website called Your Novel. What is Your Novel you ask? Your Novel is a really cool company that lets you become the characters in your own romance novel. How is this possible? They let you customize the book to have details about yourself so that you can be the center of attention. Just like you deserve! Would you rather be set in a vampire novel? Or an adventure novel? Don’t worry, they have romance novels with those themes too! There’s books for every taste. So of course when I was told that I get to review one of these books I was very excited!

At first I thought that ordering one of these books was going to be very difficult, and quite frankly boring. But to my surprise ordering and customizing the book was just as fun and exciting as picking which book you wanted. They ask for not only your name, but the name of your loved one that you wish to include in the book. They also ask for other details such as your hair color, your eye color and even things like what kind of car you drive. Best of all if you think you might have entered in something that wont sound right in the book they have a feature that lets you read what it would sound like, and if you don’t like it you can go back and edit what you entered until it sounds the way you want it.

That still not customized enough for you? I’m guessing it wasn’t enough for them either, because not only can you do all that but you can decide what kind of book you are going to read. Do you want an extra steamy, hot romance novel? Then you can choose their wild option. Wild just a little too much for you? They also have a mild option that just includes kissing and hugging encounters.

You can also choose between having a paperback, hardcover or even an e-book. You can even add your own picture! Another feature that I liked was that you can customize who you are giving it to, who it is from, and what the occasion is. So it could make that perfect gift for the one you love.

I received my book in a matter of days and I could not believe how big my book was. I expected it to be a couple pages, maybe the equivalent of a normal books chapter. But my book was over 175 pages long! The book I chose was Rome: Diamonds, Danger, and Desire.

To sum up my book, my husband takes me on a wonderful trip to Rome! Which is something I wish he would do in real life! Anyway, as it turns out he is really a secret agent who was sent to Rome to complete a mission. And luckily for me, he decided to take me along for the ride. Let me tell you, it was definitely a ride! No pun intended! Or maybe it was intended. I chose the wild version, so it was definitely an adventure. Some parts of the book were pretty typical of a romance novel. In other words, cheesy. Which was really cool because I got to have a couple laughs out of it. And since it was personalized I got to think of my husband and myself while reading. Which was a very cool experience.

I absolutely loved my book! It’s definitely something I want to be able to show off. And now I can brag about having an adventure in Rome. Okay, so maybe I can’t brag about going to Rome since technically I didn’t go. But I can brag about how I have a book that is written about my husband and I. Which is really cool! This book is definitely something that I’m going to keep, and read many times!

My take:

I loved Hemp Harts. They remind me of almonds, but with a softer texture. I ate them alone, but I’m sure they would go great with lots of things. You could substitute them in all kinds of recipes for a more healthy alternative. Or you can be like me and just eat them by themselves. Either way I’m sure you will be happy.

I received Country Bob’s All Purpose BBQ sauce as part of a review. I absolutely LOVE steak sauce! If I could put it on everything I would. I recently received a very generous box of goodies from Newman’s Own Organics. There were some things that I absolutely loved, and then there were something that I didn’t really care for.

The products I didn’t care for:

I really don’t like dark chocolate so any dark chocolate was given to my mother, who loved it.

I also am not a huge fan of pretzels, but those were given to my daughters who loved them.

Another thing I’m not so interested in is ginger products, mainly because I tried so many when I was pregnant to help with nausea. But my father loved them.

The products I really liked:

I liked the mints. They were not too overwhelming, but they still worked great.

Both me and my babies loved the Dried Berries.

I really liked the Chocolate cups and I had to fight with everyone to keep them.

And I really liked the Licorice.

The 4 things I loved most!:

The sour strawberry licorice.

The sour apple licorice.

The cinnamon mints.

The Mocha Chocolate bar.

All of their products truly are amazing! There was not one product that no one in my family would eat. I;m sure with their wide variety of foods, there will be something perfect for you too!

I love these cups. They not only look good, but the sides are very comfy. You won’t need a sleeve around it because it has a built in one. That not only provides protection from the heat, but is very comfortable compared to normal coffee cups.

I received a sample of Batiste Dry Shampoo to try. I was very excited to review this product because I don’t have time to do my hair everyday with my two girls and everything else I have to do. So I was really rooting for this product!

Now for the juicy part:

Sadly I had to wait to use my Batiste. I had to wait for my hair to become greasy and yucky so that I could see if it really worked. But this morning my hair was nice and disgusting. Which was something I never thought that I would be hoping for. So I carefully sprayed my batiste onto the roots of my hair. I got a little worried when it started to look like I had sprayed my hair with white spray paint, but I could tell that it was slowly starting to go away as I rubbed it in. So I finished spraying it into the rest of my roots as well as anywhere else I needed it. I could tell almost immediately that the oil in my hair had been soaked up by the spray. The left over white powder was a little harder to get out than I thought it was going to be. But once it was out my hair not only looked like I had just washed it. But it smelled great too! I was very impressed with this product, and I will definitely be buying more of it soon!
