I always find it hard to find a great dress that doesn’t cost a fortune, or that doesn’t fall apart after you wear it once. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to throw away a dress I just got because of snags, tears or stains. I can still remember when Axe products first came out and how all the guys were obsessed with having it! The more products they came out with the more I wished they had products for women. Last year they came out with the first For Her product which I reviewed for you guys. I loved it, which is why I was excited when I found out I was getting the new products for an Axe Anarchy For Her II review.

I was sent sent Axe Anarchy For Her and Axe Anarchy For Her II revitalizing shower gel. Since it had been so long since they had come out with the Anarchy For Her Body Spray I thought that they would never come out with more for her products, so this was quite a pleasant surprise.

My thoughts

I LOVE Axe Anarchy For Her! It is by far one of my favorite fragrances and I am so happy that they finally added to the collection! All of the scents are perfect together. I will admit that there have been occasions where I have used my husbands Axe products not just because they smell great, but because they work great! A lot of the girly products you find that are cheap also wear cheaply so it is nice to have a scent that lasts all day. Not only that but this scent is meant to pair with Axe Anarchy For Him. Luckily for me it is also one of my husbands favorite scents, so we can both smell great without our scents clashing.

About Axe Anarchy For Her II

An electric combination of apple and mandarin, paired with a hint of jasmine petals. The fragrance finishes with succulent vanilla and sandalwood to keep her feeling confident and amped for anything.

My Thoughts

While I love this scent, I REALLY love the original scent more. Maybe it’s just because I love pretty much anything with the scent of roses in it. However, this is the one my husband picked as his favorite so I use it pretty often just to make him happy.

It seems to be that a lot of the great smelling body washes I have tried are not as sudsy as I would like. Anarchy is great because it suds up to practically a foam which makes me feel like I am actually cleaning my skin. I just wish I had a lotion to match!

While I love the new Shower Gels I wish that they had made deodorant first. I think that I would be a lot happier and buy a lot more products if they just made deodorant. Hopefully they will make some soon!

I love using face cleansing clothes. However, I hate how many chemicals are in them! When I heard that I was able to review Puffs Fresh Faces, I was very excited to be able to change my routine without worrying about what I was putting on my face.

If you have kids, or even if you just follow this blog you will have heard of Boogie Wipes. Puffs Fresh Faces is created by the makers of Boogie Wipes. So what does this mean? It means that you know that they are going to bring you a product that is safe, gentle and that really works! Puffs fresh faces are wipes formulated with Natural Saline, Aloe, and Vitamin E.

I was able to receive a sample of each of their scents, which include Frangrance Free, Fresh Scent, Light Lavender and they even have the Scent of Vicks! So far my favorite is the Light Lavender scent as I absolutely LOVE Lavender. The scents are not overwhelming and the wipes themselves have so many uses!

You can use them to clean your makeup, wipe your nose, or freshen up after a long day or a hard workout! I have been using the Light Lavender almost every night and it removes all of my makeup and leaves my skin soft! I have also noticed that the saline helps dry out my acne, which is an absolute miracle. One scent that I cannot wait to try is the Scent of Vicks! I cannot wait to see if it helps ease my pain this flu season. I have been using Vicks a lot the last couple years and never thought they would come out with a wipe.

I have only found one problem with these wipes. The 45 count box is kind of awkward. I think that the box will make the wipes dry out quicker than the regular plastic packages would. I didn’t notice on the first box that it had a flip top lid because the product sticker was stuck over it so I started to open the side before I realized what was going on. However, the box is super cute and as long as I use them regularly I’m sure it will be fine. I have not pulled out a dry wipe yet, so we shall see.

We’re back again with another great Manicure for Manicure Monday! This time we are not going to do another review, as we have already shared this product with you many times. SensatioNail is one of my go-to nail products that I just can’t get enough of. I have about 15 bottles of gel polish from SensatioNail and plan to buy more in the very near future ( I love their new lines). The manicure I am sharing is a little old but has not been shared with you guys yet!

I had decided that for my Birthday I was going to do cupcake nails. They didn’t turn out quite the way I wanted to, but I thought they still looked great and were a fun way to celebrate! They were super easy to do and of course because they were SensatioNail they lasted forever! Which was great because not only was I able to celebrate my birthday with these nails but my daughters as well!

I recently got out of school and I learned a few things about my learning techniques. I noticed that if I read things over and over or if I saw how to do something it would stick a lot longer then if I heard it, or even if I physically did it. This is true for a lot of us, we just don’t know it.

My teacher kept talking about how important it was to find what learning technique works best for us so that we would actually retain the information and it would stick with us for longer than just the test. It was a really great thought, I just wished that I had known it when I was in high school so that I would actually remember all the stuff I “learned there”!

Did you know that 65% of the population learns visually? That is just insane to me, but it would explain why so many of us will have problems with a teacher that talks all day vs one that shows us things. I always hated when a teacher would talk all day about things that had nothing to do with the class, or would constantly get angry when I was busy reading and not listening to what they were saying because I didn’t learn that way.

People retain about 50% more information when they see and hear something at the same time. So you will retain more of a book if you read it aloud vs reading it to yourself. Of course you may sound like an idiot in the process, but you will at least know what you have read! I hate sitting there reading something over and over again because for some reason my brain just did not want to listen!

How many of us will read something online but not care about it unless there is a video. I guess that would explain why Youtube is more popular than many other websites. I guess that I should start doing more video reviews for you guys!

I have naturally wavy/curly hair, but I have chemically straightened it with a Keratin Treatment. Every so often I love to curl my hair and get those perfect curls or waves that I can’t seem to get naturally. I have tried using hot curlers, regular curling irons and even the flat irons that curl your hair when used a certain way but they either don’t work at all or take way too long! This next product not only gives you perfect curls, but can give you those curls fast and easy!

I cannot tell you how excited I was when I heard that I was going to review the Curl Secret. I had been seeing the commercials on TV and could not believe that someone finally came out with a product that curls your hair easily and without burning your fingers every curl! Yes, I will admit to you all that I on multiple occasions have burned my fingers trying to curl my hair. Since my hair is really thick I have to leave my hair in a curling iron for a long time and when my hands get tired my brain says to move my hand directly on the iron. Maybe it is just me, but because of this problem I don’t curl my hair very often.

So what makes this product so much different from those horrible curling irons? For one, the iron is on the inside. You don’t have to grab the end where the iron is because it has a perfect handle and pulls the hair in by itself, so there is no fighting with the awkward handle or fighting to get your hair in the right position to curl. Another great thing about this product is that the curl chamber is made of Tourmaline Ceramic so it does not fry your hair when you use it. I have VERY dry, brittle hair so this is a must for me. It also has low (365ºF) and high (400ºF) settings as well as 3 different timer settings(8 seconds for loose waves, 10 seconds for regular curls and 12 seconds for tight curls)!

Just like I’m sure you are, I was very nervous to try this product not only because I didn’t think it would work but also because I was afraid that my hair would get caught inside the chamber and I would have to cut it out. Let me tell you, Conair though about pretty much everything when it comes to this device! If it detects that your hair as been caught inside or you have put too much hair inside it will beep and reverse to let your hair out gently. I may have lost a couple strands of hair using it, but that was only because of my own stupidity and luckily this device prevents most of it.

As I said before, one reason I do not like traditional curling irons is how long it takes to curl my hair. I timed how long it took to curl my whole head of hair and it only took about 15 minutes. With it being my first time a good portion of this time was fumbling around trying to use it. I was very happy with not only the time but the results! My hair had perfect little ringlets and none of those odd creases like you get with curling irons. It truly has been a great experience with this product and I think everyone should have one!

After using the Curl Secret a couple times I have come up with some tips for you!

1. Make sure to come/brush each section before you curl it. This will help prevent your hair getting caught!

2. If you have thick hair use the 12 second setting to get a good curl.

3. Spray a SMALL amount of hairspray to each strand before curling to help the curl stick.

I have always had a hard time keeping my lips from cracking and splitting. I still have no idea what truly causes it and this problem has been passed to my two daughters. One thing we have a really hard time keeping in our house is chapstick. My oldest is absolutely obsessed with chapstick so we were very excited about this review!

I love that these come in cute little designs: Chic, Fab, Adventurous and Whimsical! They are perfect to fit in a purse a pocket or really anywhere! The ones I received were a vanilla flavor which was surprisingly good! It still had a little of the traditional Carmex taste behind it, but they really complimented each other!

I think my favorite of the designs would have to be Whimsical. As you know I love bright colors and it is just an awesome design! I also really like Chic. I love this new spin on the old Carmex designs! I always remember the little jars of Carmex and how even though I loved the product itself, I would always pick something with cuter packaging. Not only do I love the designs, but my daughters love them to! I love that they are perfect for all ages and that they are another way to enjoy the Carmex formula without having to use the little jar.

With winter coming up we can all pretty much expect dry lips from all the cold and yucky weather. I think this is a great item for any girl to carry with them! Each stick is also formulated with the trusted, ultra-hydrating Moisture Plus® technology, the lip balm, with a sleek slant tip for easy application, features aloe, vitamin E and Broad Spectrum SPF 15 sunscreen to protect lips from the damaging effects of the sun.

The only problem I had was that when my daughter decided to be funny and roll the stick all the way to the top the formula was a little soft so it was a pain to try to roll it back down. Other than that they worked great and we all enjoyed them! I Highly recommend these products to anyone that uses chapstick! One thing I swear I don’t get to do enough is listen to the radio. The only time I hear it is when I am driving, which surprisingly enough is not very often. So often in fact that I have been begging my husband to get a stereo system for our house. One revolutionary radio station started Car Talk Radio. What is Car Talk Radio you ask?

In 1977 Car Talk Radio was started. Originally it was meant to be 6 mechanics that would sit there and talk about their cars and answer questions about others cars. Ironically enough only one mechanic showed, that mechanic was Tom. Tom eventually brought his brother to help, Ray, and they both got to sit there and help many people with their car troubles.

At first they were running this station without getting paid! With how much mechanics make nowadays I can’t believe that they were helping all of these people without getting anything in return. Although I guess being paid in gratitude and being a major part of history is pretty cool. For years they went unpaid until one day they decided to ask WBUR for $20 a week.

In 1987 Susan Stamberg put them on NPR and they went national. They had a weekly segment on her “Sunday Weekend Edition” show and they could not be more excited. After 9 months of being on air with Susan she made them go national. Sure they had their own fan base, but they never imagined they would go national!

Car Talk Radio aired for 35 years! During this time not only did they have their radio station, but they also had their own newspaper column and were very popular! I can’t imagine the amount of people they must have helped during this time. They stopped producing shows in October of 2012 and I’m sure this was a very sad day for many listeners!
