My daughters have always been obsessed with watches. In fact if they see one they will try to rip it off your wrist to play with it! My best friend recently got a new light up watch and now the girls are always messing with it. I decided that it was time to get them their own watch that they can play with! Thanks to Karma Kiss they now have a butterfly watch of their own.
I remember when I was young and flip watches were all the rage. Of course back then they were finger watches. I remember my favorite one happened to be a little VW bug. I have always been obsessed with flip top watches, so when I saw this one I knew I had to have one for my girls. Of course my oldest just turned 3 so for her this is more for looks, but with her obsession with watches I figured it’s never too early to start teaching her how to tell time.
I absolutely love the butterfly on the outside! I think it is super cute and my daughter loved it! She got even more excited when I showed her that she can open it.
When you open the watch it has a digital reading, which is perfect for first watch. To make them even more excited about this watch (as if it being able to open wasn’t enough), if you press the bottom right button the watch flashes. I tried to get a picture but it was hard to get a picture of flashing lights.
Since having this watch my girls have both passed it around and have been pretty good about sharing. My only concern with this watch is the clasp for the band is pretty stiff. I have a hard time helping the girls put it on. The rest of the watch seems to be good quality and is adored not only by my children, but their friends as well.

My daughters 3rd Birthday was this last Sunday and instead of giving her more crayons to break in half we decided to go a different route. I hate finding pieces of crayons everywhere and hate how they break so easily. We were sent a package of Crayon Rocks to review for you.
Hi, my name is Barbara Lee and I taught children with special needs for 23 years. I invented Crayon Rocks after being inspired by Jan Olsen, OTR, and the Handwriting Without Tears program. I learned from her how important it was to develop early a good tripod grip. Handwriting skills depends upon this.Since a child’s first writing tool is usually a crayon, that crayon should be one that encourages him or her to use thumb, first and second fingers in a tripod grip. This is what makes Crayon Rocks a wonderful tool for fine motor development.
A Little Goes a Long Way
A really good crayon should take very little effort in applying great swaths of color to the paper. In fact, that crayon should be as much like paint as possible. Rich color that goes on smoothly and easily helps little fingers to grow strong as they spill their creative ideas onto paper.
I wanted a coloring tool that students with grip strength problems and disorders effecting fine motor control could use AND enjoy. It has been lots of fun to see what my students do with their Crayon Rocks.
What we think:
I love that Crayon Rocks are easy for children to hold and are non-toxic, vegan, and have zero phthalates! They are made in America from natural soy wax and colored with mineral pigments! With the exception of a few crayons, they are all very pigmented and very soft. When coloring with these crayons they do feel like you are painting instead of coloring with crayons.
My daughter was very excited about these crayons and has been obsessed with them since I gave them to her!
She loves them so much that she has been carrying them around the house and putting them in different containers along the way.
I love that they fit perfectly in her hand and do not break in half while she is coloring. The funny part is that my husband forgot about them and saw them in a cup and thought she had found colored rocks from outside. He even went to throw them away! Once he realized what they were he stopped of course, but I do like that they are pretty realistic looking (other than the bright colors of course).
I would recommend Crayon Rocks to anyone who has toddlers, or for presents for kids in your family. They are great to color with and perfect for kids hands! You can find Crayon Rocks on their website here.

Get Ready, Get Set, Get Blast Zone!

Having two toddlers can sometimes be very tiring. Anyone with a toddler would know how hard it is to keep them occupied for longer than five minutes without the typical “Mommy, Mommy!” and a tug on your shirt or pants. Luckily for us, it is summer and with summer comes all of the fun outdoor activities our children love. Of course we can rent some of these activities for parties or special occasions, or thanks to companies like Blast Zone we can now buy these great toys for great prices and use them all summer!
We received the Sidekick Castle Bounce House to review for you guys and could not be happier with this product! At first I was worried that it would be a major hassle to put up and take down. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it only took about 10 minutes (if not less) to unfold, stake down, and hook everything up. I was even more surprised to find that it blew up within a matter of a minute!

It was so easy, that I could put it up by myself! Taking it down was a little more tedious just because you have to push all of the air out before you can fold it up and put it in the bag. Even so, it still took less than 15 minutes to put it away and it still fits in the bag! While the bag may not be tiny, I still was amazed that the whole thing fit!
I was a little worried about my girls playing in this with bigger kids, but because of the design I feel more comfortable than ever! Normally my girls are afraid of being in small spaces with lots of kids, but because of the open design they were not afraid of being inside with others. I also noticed that since the material is a little different than a commercial bouncer that while it is bouncy, it does not transmit the bounce as much. Which I LOVE because you can have a big kid jump next to a toddler without knocking them over!
Both of my girls, as well as all of their friends love this bounce house! They will play with it until it’s dark outside and then will beg to play longer. All of the kids run back and forth between the ball pit, the slide, and of course jumping around. It has given them hours of entertainment and we are so happy to have it.

We have a big family and always have tons of kids to play with. So I love that this is so simple to take out for whenever we need it. My youngest daughter (pictured above) just had her birthday, and it was so nice to be able to just set the bouncer up and let them play instead of dealing with a rental company and random people at my house. We have already saved so much money having this bounce house, and I’m sure it will continue to save us money!
We have only had one problem with this bouncer, when we go to take it down there is this really loud noise we can’t seen to get rid of. But it’s okay, the noise just comes from the kids being so upset that they can no longer play in the bounce house. Which eventually goes away until the next time we set it up.
I highly recommend this bouncer to anyone that has kids, or even anyone that has family with kids that stay at their house. It is so simple, and affordable that it’s perfect for everyone! You can find this and other great bounce houses on the Blast Zone website here.

Lily Bug Pretend Makeup Review and Giveaway

I cannot tell you how many times I have been trying to put on my makeup only to realize that my daughter took off with some of it and is in the other room applying it to her own face. While this is extremely cute it is also extremely messy. I have been on the lookout for makeup kits for my toddler that are both safe for her, and mess free. On this search I found Lily Bug Pretend Makeup, and just in time for Valentines Day!
I received their 6 piece Necessities set to review, or well my girls got to review this one!
I could tell immediately that my girls were going to love their pretend makeup! When I first saw them I thought they were like a shadow that just didn’t leave any marks, but as I looked closer I realized that it was actually similar to a fabric. I love that it looks just like my makeup but doesn’t make a mess. Most makeup sets still contain some dyes that may not leave marks on skin, but are hard to clean off of the carpet. Or they may be a light color, but are in powder form and can get everywhere! So I was very happy that I won’t be dealing with either of these problems with this set.
My girls really loved playing with this set. Now I have something to give them while I do my own makeup and I wont have to worry about them making a mess with my makeup or their own. It keeps them occupied and keeps mommy happy. Another thing that is great about Lily Bug makeup is that it is 100% Non-Toxic and Lead Free.

With our youngest finally ready to make the switch we could not be more excited about the Dora Toddler Bed!
Normally I am not a HUGE fan of Dora products mainly because of the colors, but I was really impressed with the toddler bed I received. Another thing that I was impressed with was how simple it was to put together. In about 30 minutes the bed was ready for my toddler to jump in and go to sleep. I know a lot of us want our toddlers to have the nice wooden beds, but with the price and how plain they are I’m not sure its worth it. With these beds not only do they last a long time, but they are inexpensive and have your childs favorite characters on them. Our oldest daughter has had this same bed with a different character on it for over a year and it is still standing strong, so you really get your monies worth with these beds.
Another thing my girls were excited about was the Spongebob Squarepants Giant Coloring Pages coloring book.
My girls love to color! One breaks the crayons while the other one eats them, which is pretty awesome but a big mess. I love the Giant Coloring Pages because they can both color the same page without getting upset about having to share. There is plenty of room for them both to color! It also has a code on the package that lets you create coloring pages from your favorite photos. I think it would be awesome to let the girls color our favorite family photo.
Lately my 2 year old has been absolutely obsessed with my makeup so I have been searching for a good makeup kit for her. Nickelodeon offers a great makeup set called the Winx Club Glam Makeup Case.
I love how solid the case is! It was definitely not something I expected! I also love that it comes with makeup applicators. My little one is always trying to take my makeup brushes to use with her pretend makeup. Another thing that is great about this case is that you can place all your little ones other makeup products underneath the slide out palettes. This will be keeping my daughter entertained for hours! This is something that you won’t regret buying that’s for sure!
One of my daughters obsessions other than just makeup is lip balm. I was very happy when I saw this next set.
Not only does this set come with 4 different lip balms with Dora on them, but it also comes with a little tin to hold them in. My daughter is obsessed with purses and things so she is super excited about the tin. I’m glad that this set comes with actual lip balm too! We got a makeup set not too long ago that came with lip jelly. I’m still not quite sure what lip jelly is, or how to get it out of my carpet so this set makes me really happy! It also comes with different flavors so your little one can choose their favorite!
Mommy is obsessed with having her nails painted, so of course the girls want to paint theirs too. Since they can’t use mommies nail polish this next set is perfect!
This is the Kiss It Paint It set. It comes with two bottles of nail polish and two tubes of lip gloss and something to carry them with. I love that the colors are not too bright so my girls can paint their own nails, and if they mess up its not a big deal. It is also really thick so that if the bottle tips it wont spill everywhere. Another great thing about these last two makeup sets is that they are very inexpensive. You don’t have to spend a fortune to make you princess happy.

Kidtronic My-Word-Magnets Review and Discount Code

I love my two year old! But what I do not love is that she loves the magnets on our fridge, and loves to destroy them! So I went on a search to find magnets that were not only fun for her, but would help her learn. What I found is a really awesome magnet set from My-Word-Magnets.
I received their Magnet Super Bundle to review for you guys. The great part about their bundles is that you can personalize the kit by choosing your own words to add to the already huge selection of included words. I was able to get magnets for all my daughters favorite people and things, as well as one for Star Focal of course!
The kit I received had the option to add 15 words of my choosing. I thought that it would be no problem choosing that many words, but I was wrong. After sitting in front of the computer for what seemed like hours I noticed a little wizard on the page named Wendell. Wendell was a life saver! Wendell will ask you questions to help you come up with ideas of words to add to your list. After finding Wendell it took only a couple of minutes to add the last of my words, and I was ready to receive my kit!
I love that this bundle comes with so many magnets! My daughter can play with these for hours and never get bored. Some of the magnets are even color coded and have different colors for nouns, verbs and more. The set also comes with number and symbols so they have everything they need to create their own sentences, or even solve math problems!
The magnets come in sheets, and you get to take them apart. For some kids this could just add to the fun, or for some parents it could just mean more work to do. I just wish that I had looked at all the words carefully before shoving them in the box, but with an excited two year old begging to play I couldn’t really wait. One word that I wish it had was “love.” I’m not sure if it was just missing out of my kit for some reason or if it doesn’t come in any of the kits, but if you plan to order one make sure to add it to your list of words!
The Super Bundle also comes with their Super Safety Board, which is great because my girls don’t have to use our fridge to play with the magnets. I was very surprised about how sturdy the board was and how easy it is to play with. My girls can now play with their magnets and mommy can have her fridge space back!
My girls really loved to play with this set. Sure they can’t quite come up with their own sentences, but they still had a lot of fun. My two year old was even able to recognize some of the words, which was really awesome!
