Packaways Review

My daughters room is full of toys. So many that we have a hard time putting them away and keeping them away. If we use a toy chest she just opens it up and takes all the toys out and leaves them all over the floor. We definitely needed a way to keep all of her toys organized while still keeping them in her room that would also be hard for her to get into. We received some boxes from Packaways to review.
I love the boxes we received! They are really easy to set up, and they have a really awesome design. When they are put together they remind me of colorful Chinese take out boxes, I’m still not sure why. I love that you can write on the labels with a dry erase marker so that if you change the contents you can also change the label.
Each box has special flaps, cuts and holes in them so that you can put them together quickly and hassle free. I’m sure we have all closed boxes using the criss cross method, but not only does it ruin the box, but you can get paper cuts which are the worst. You use a similar method to close these boxes but with the way they designed it you don’t have to ruin the box, you don’t get paper cuts from it, and the best part is that it won’t accidentally come undone while you are trying to move the box.
We used our Packaways for our daughters toys, but there are so many other ways to use these boxes. You can use them for moving, paperwork, storage or anything else you need boxes for. They come in many different sizes, and tons of colors! The possibilities are endless! I will definitely be buying more of these boxes and I think that everyone should have at least one of these boxes laying around.

Mavea Water Pitcher Review and Giveaway **Closed**

I hate drinking water from the faucet. Not only is it not clean, but its never cold enough. Sure you can buy a filter that connects to your faucet but the water will still not be cold enough, and then you have an awkward filter to deal with. I received the Mavea Elemaris XL pitcher in purple to review.
I was very surprised at how easy it was to put this pitcher together. Within minutes I was able to drink crystal clear water. Before this pitcher I never really wanted to look at what the water that comes out of my faucet looks like, but since I had the pitcher I wanted to compare the two. I could not believe how gross the water that I’ve been drinking is! I could see so much that I really wish I hadn’t seen. My house is very old, so I have always been worried about what the old pipes might be doing to my water. I was so happy to get this pitcher, and I am so happy with the results. I can finally drink my water and not be worried about what else I am drinking with it.
Not only does the Elemaris pitcher work great, but it looks amazing too! I got purple, which of course is perfect for me! It has a very sleek design, and is perfect for any kitchen. Its design is not only for looks, but has a wonderful purpose as well. This pitcher can also fit into the door of your refrigerator. It is also designed so that you don’t have to take it apart to fill it with water. All you have to do is stick it under the faucet and fill it up through the hole on the top. With two babies taking apart a water pitcher to fill it is the last thing that I want to think about.
Another thing that I don’t want to worry about is remembering when I need to change the filter. The Elemaris has what is called the Mavea Smart Meter which tells you when you need to change the filter. So no more guessing about when you put the filter in or when you have to change it. This pitcher makes it so easy to have fresh, clean drinking water that I can’t believe I didn’t get one before.

Orange Guard Review

Recently my house has been attacked by ants. We have tried just about everything safe to use around my babies and my dog. We even tried using cinnamon which we have been told would at least help, but instead made things worse! Nothing was working, and I was about to give up and use something I was not comfortable with.
Enough was enough! It was time to get rid of all the ants! I received Orange Guard to review, and I could not be more excited! Orange Guard is safe enough to use around food, pets, and even kids. Of course you still wouldn’t want to eat it, but you don’t have to worry about spraying it while they are in the room, or cleaning out everything in your kitchen before spraying it.

The spray itself smells like oranges. Which is a very nice change to the normal ant killer. Normally the smell of cleaners, or bug repellants give me headaches, but Orange Guard smells great and makes my house smell like I had just peeled a whole bunch of oranges. The thing I did not like about the spray is how long it would linger. If I don’t wipe down where I had sprayed the Orange Guard it would stay there for days, which would be great for use outdoors, but not for using in my kitchen which was where the majority of my problem was. It’s definitely not something that I want left all over my floors and counters.

Personally, I would not consider Orange Guard as a permanent solution to your ant problem, but it did help kill the ants, and helped the majority of them from coming back. I think that this product would be great to use in addition to an outdoor bug killer, or for use with very small and problems. Overall I would recommend this products to anyone that has pets, or children and would like something to protect your house while also keeping your loved ones safe.

ChicWrap Review and Giveaway

I absolutely hate fumbling around with your average plastic wrap. It gets stuck to itself, yet it won’t stick to what you want it to. I have worked at a deli where we had the commercial grade plastic wrap that worked wonders. I never understood why all plastic wrap wasn’t like that. I would buy the commercial grade plastic wrap for my house, but who wants that big of a roll just lying around. Especially when your like me and don’t use it very often. At least not often enough to justify having that much just sitting there. I am so glad that I found ChicWrap.

ChicWrap is a plastic wrap dispenser that not only looks great on your counter top, but also holds professional plastic wrap in a convenient size. I received ChicWrap’s California plastic wrap dispenser. Its so cute, and I often forget what its for.

The dispenser has little rubber feet on the bottom so that you can easily cover what your need to without the box sliding all over the counter. The plastic wrap itself is really great. It sticks perfectly to the container instead of sticking to itself, plus with the easy cutter that’s attached you don’t have to fight to cut a piece off.
My husband normally is not a big fan of my review items unless they are for him specifically. I don’t think I will ever forget the night he found our new kitchen accessory. He came running out of the kitchen asking where we had gotten it, and then told me that I needed to give it a great review as it is the best plastic wrap he has ever used.
I love my new ChicWrap! This is something that I think would not only make a great decoration for your kitchen, but is something that could also make a great gift for your friends and family. They have many different designs, so you can get one to match your kitchen or even just get one to match your mood.

Slice Cutter Review

I get a lot of boxes and packages, especially lately. However, with two little girls having a box cutter around is just not an option. I’m constantly worried about opening boxes around them, or even owning a box cutter because I don’t want to chance them getting to one and getting hurt. My husband will laugh at me because I will use my house key to cut open boxes. It works, but not very well. To make my fear of my children using a box cutter worse my 2 year old started opening my boxes with my keys for me.
I received a Safety Cutter made by Slice as part of a review.
Can you say that your child can play with your box cutter and have no chance of hurting themselves? I now can because of my Safety Cutter. It has a small ceramic blade that is sharp enough to cut through paper, or tape, but won’t cut skin. So I don’t have to worry about my daughters hurting themselves on my box cutter anymore. Not only that but the ceramic blade does not rust, and lasts longer then your traditional steel blade.
This Safety Cutter has some really awesome features other then the ceramic blade too. My Slice Safety Cutter lives on my key ring, but it also has a built in magnet. So you can also keep yours on your fridge, or anything else you have that a magnet could stick to. It also has a rubberized non-slip finish so you don’t have to worry about it slipping out of your hands and cutting something you don’t want cut.
I am so glad I received this cutter. It makes things so much easier, and definitely helps me feel better that I don’t have to worry about my kids getting a hold of it.
