One of my favorite times of the year happens to be Halloween, but I hate spending so much money on costumes that either you only want to wear once, or are destroyed after the first use. This is why I was so excited to get a costume for an Anytime Costumes Review.
For the longest time here on Star Focal, we went without using SEO to promote our page. Why do you ask? Because I just didn’t know how to do it. SEO is a fairly complicated process and it’s very hard to figure out how to use it correctly. Why do we need SEO? SEO is what will help search engines like Google find us. Without SEO you get put to the bottom of the list when someone searches for something on our site.
Why does it matter that people can find us? We started this blog to make sure that you can make informed purchases of products. The more people view our site, the more potential reviews we can get.
Recently we started making sure all of our posts utilize SEO and I finally found a tool to help us figure it out. That tool is the Yoast Plug in for wordpress. If you have wordpress I highly suggest you get this plug in. Since having it my views have increased and is seems our page is now higher on Google.

What I think
I was very impressed with this from the beginning. They looked really pretty and also came with sizes big enough to put on your toes! Of course for this review I decided to put them on my fingers!
I loved how easy these were to apply and how great they looked on me. I even got compliments on them less than an hour after I had put them on! The design itself is beautiful and it is not as textured as I had pictured from the description. Yes there is texture to them, but they are less than what you would feel if you had put on gems by hand. I do not normally like texture, but these have the perfect amount.

Halloween is quickly approaching and now is the time to start thinking about what you are going to wear this Halloween. For kids it is okay if their friends are wearing the same costume, but for adults seeing someone that has the same costume can ruin your night. Especially if you thought that your costume was unique. We got a great costume from 80s Tees to review for you!
80s Tees has a selection of costumes that are unique to them! So if you are looking for Unique Costumes you may want to check them out! We got their Bubble Wrap Zoltan Costume to review! As soon as I saw it I knew that it would be something that the hubby would love to wear this year!
If you have seen the movie “Dude, Where’s My Car?” you will know what this costume is. If not, this costume is from the cult in the movie made up of a bunch of nerds wanting to go to space and meet a bunch of Aliens. If you have never seen the movie I highly recommend you do. It used to be one of my favorites! Anyway, all of the members of the group of nerds is let by Zoltan and they all wear this bubble wrap suit. Of course Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott end up wearing these suits and run around popping everyone’s bubbles. I always wondered if anyone sold those suits just for fun, so when I saw this we had to have it!
The picture above made me believe that it came with the black jumpsuit for underneath but when the package arrived there was only the bubble wrap costume. I was a little disappointed, but nothing a black shirt and some black shorts can’t fix. When we got the costume we could only find a grey shirt so we went with it anyway.
Of course hubby went nuts and ran around the house acting like he was Zoltan, but it was still fun. The costume itself is literally bubble wrap with extras added on for comfort and I would imagine to make it more authentic, but if you want something that won’t pop this is not for you. My only problem with this costume is that I wish it was reinforces somehow as he popped it several times just getting in and out of it. It will definitely be a hit on Halloween though and I know I personally have never seen anything like it.

I will admit, I have a very hard time drinking water! Mainly because while I am okay with the taste, I just prefer those horrible sugary drinks. Sure I can put lemon and all kinds of things in the water, which I have tried many times, but I hate trying to take a drink of something and all of the sudden choke on a piece of whatever I decided to put in my drink that day. I was sent some awesome products for a Zing Anything Review!

What I think
I received the Citrus Zinger and the Vodka Zinger. First I will tell you about the Citrus Zinger. The Citrus Zinger not only infuses your water, but you can use it to easily make fresh Lemonade, Limeade or even Orangeade. One of my favorite ways to drink water is with lemon. For some reason it just makes the water taste fresher.
The Citrus Zinger comes in Pink (pictured above), Green, and Orange. The bottom has a juicer built in that I find works quite well!
One suggestion I would have when using the Citrus Zinger is to wait to fill it with water until you have juiced any lemons you plan on putting inside. I only say this because I am super paranoid and of course clumsy and with my luck I would knock the thing over and juice would go everywhere! Other than that the Citrus Zinger is great! I am very happy that I can make fresh lemonade without the hassle!
I also received the Vodka Zinger to review.
I love drinking mixed drinks or flavored drinks in general, but I hate all the extra sugar and who knows what else that they add in the process. With the Vodka Zinger you get to choose what flavors you want and you know that they are healthy.
The bottom of this one is a little more heavy duty then the Citrus Zinger, mainly because you can use other fruits and veggies in this one. Personally, I chose strawberry for my first run. I know, it’s kind of plain but I love strawberry and I am not a huge fan of artificial strawberry flavoring.
The Vodka Zinger only comes in white, but I do love the white! Hopefully they will come out with more colors in the future! I cannot wait to see what products they come out with next!

I always find it hard to keep my hair, skin and nails healthy. Which is why I was so glad to be able to post a NeoCell Review! What is NeoCell? I received their Keratin Hair Volumizer and their Collagen Beauty Builder to review. I have really thin nails and really dry hair so I was excited to see if their products really worked!
First I will talk about the Keratin Hair Volumizer. I LOVE Keratin products and they have never let me down, so I knew I had to have this product! They are medium sized white capsules and you take two, twice daily. Our hair and nails are made of Keratin and collagen so the two main ingredients help strengthen what you already have.
I currently use a Keratin treatment on my hair as well as wash my hair with a Keratin based shampoo and my hair has never been so smooth and this product has made my hair even stronger and has significantly reduced the amount of hair loss I have been experiencing. For the last couple of years I have been loosing hair constantly. Even my husband has been getting upset because he finds my hair everywhere. So anything I can do to help stop my hair from falling out benefits pretty much everyone in my house (specifically my vacuum).
While I may be able to baby my nails and get them to be a little longer and stronger, they never seem to stay long. Also, my skin is not what it used to be after having the girls, so I thought that the Collagen Beauty Builder would work wonders for me!
These remind me of the size of Calcium pills. You take 3 pills, twice daily to get radiant, smooth and hydrated skin and strong nails. I have never taken collagen anything before so this was a new experience for me. I have however heard very good things about collagen and how it works wonders for skin and nails so I couldn’t wait to see how it worked for me.
After taking these products for about a week I noticed less hair fallout, along with hair that was stronger and extremely shiny. I generally have a lot of blemishes because of so many problems with my skin and I have noticed that my blemishes have been healing faster than normal and that my skin has just overall been softer and healthier. I also noticed that my nails have been stronger and almost seem to have a shiny coat over them.
I would definitely recommend these two products to anyone looking for beautiful hair, skin, and nails that like me, can’t seem to get them by themselves. NeoCell also offers other great products that you can find on their website here.

It has been a while since we have shared some great pet products with you, so today we have a Newman’s Own Organics Pet Review and giveaway! Not only was I excited about this review and so were our two pets! I got a sampler pack for both my kitty and my puppy!
First up is the cat sampler. It had some dry cat food, and of course some wet food. Apparently it smells really good because my cat immediately started chewing on the box! The funny part was that he only chewed on the box with the cat food in it which got me pretty excited about feeding it to him!
The first thing that we gave him was the wet food. We know that he is obsessed with wet food, he will start jumping on you every time you open a can. He gets to the point that he will jump into the trash can to retrieve the top of the can if we don’t put the rest down for him quick enough. He absolutely loved his new food! He kept begging for it which is not normal for him! Not only that but this food did not have the same odor as a lot of other wet cat food. I am not saying it didn’t smell, but it also didn’t make the whole house smell like kitty dinner. It was definitely a nice change.
He also loved the dry food! Of course he did not like it as much as the wet food, but it’s not like other companies where he would get upset if we didn’t give him the wet stuff. With other brands we would have to wean him off of the wet food for him to even consider eating the dry food. It was a nice change to be able to give him either on and for him to be happy.
Of course the dog got spoiled! She got two different kinds of treats, dry dog food and wet food. Sadly my daughter realized what the Snack sticks were and realized how happy they made the dog so by the second night they were completely gone! She had woken up in the middle of the night, grabbed the bag, ripped it open and fed the whole bag to the dog. I was very impressed with the Snack Sticks though! They looked like beef jerky and smelled pretty good too.
We also got Peanut Butter Dog Treats. At first I thought “Peanut Butter?!” but then I thought about the fact that dogs love the taste of peanut butter, it just ends badly once they start eating it. I loved that they were in the shape of hearts, which made my girls love giving them to our dog! She really loved them and has been being extra good to get more!
Of course they also sent us some dry dog food and some wet food. We do not normally give her wet food, but she was super excited about this special treat! We mixed it with the dry food and she was in heaven. I love that all of these products are organic and contain everything my pets need! Not only do I love it, but they love it to!
The only thing that I didn’t like was that they don’t have any kitty treats (although the kitty did steal some from the dog). Hopefully they will have some in the future! I love giving my kitty treats, I just wish he would do tricks for them like the dog does.

As some of you may know, my husband is a boot salesman. Not only does he sell them, but he is obsessed with them. He knows just about everything there is to know about boots and the companies that he sells for, but it’s more than just the knowledge. He also owns about 15 pairs of boots (does not include sandals)! He is very obsessed with keeping his shoes as clean and neat as possible, they even have their own shelf! When I was told I had the chance to host a SteriShoe Review and giveaway I was very excited!
So what is SteriShoe? SteriShoe is a product that sterilizes the insides of your shoes using Germicidal Ultraviolet Light (UVC). It kills 99.9% of organisms that cause Foot Odor, Athletes Foot, and Toe Nail Fungus! It is accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association, is safe and easy to use, and is completely chemical and drug free! When I told my husband this, he told me that it couldn’t be true and he just did not understand how it could possibly work. I explained to him that UV Light has a lot of benefits and while it may not seem possible we might as well try it and see how it goes.
We received the SteriShoe extremely fast and while my husband was still a little hesitant, I couldn’t wait to try it! I ripped it out of the box, read the directions/information booklet, and went on a search to find the stinkiest shoes I can find! Since my husband has so many shoes none of them were as smelly as my brother-in-law’s shoes! I immediately put the SteriShoe to work!
The SteriShoe process itself takes about 45 minutes, but setting it up took about 2 minutes so it was a fair trade. After the 45 minutes I took the shoes out of the bag and sniffed them. They were so smelly before that they still had a slight smell so I decided that I would turn in on for another run while I was at work. I get a call a couple hours later from my husband saying that he took the shoes out and can’t smell anything. He kept asking if the shoes were smelly when I put them in the bag or if I did something funny to them, so I told him to try it out himself.
When I came home he had already used the SteriShoe on multiple pairs of shoes and kept freaking out because he could not believe that it was working on all his different shoes. He was hooked. He decided to take it to work to talk to some of his co-workers to see if they had ever heard of such a thing. We were very excited when we found out that we would be getting another great NYX product from Blue Scandal. This time we were sent lip gloss for an NYX Butter Gloss Review.
I am not a big lip gloss person so I was a little worried about trying out this Butter Gloss. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn’t sticky and lasted a lot longer than any other gloss I had tried. It smells and tastes like sugary vanilla, which I of course love and this Enchanted Kiss Butter Gloss set comes in 3 tints.
I think this is one of my favorites of the bunch. It has a little more color than the others, but it is still not overwhelming.
This one is also one of my favorites. It has very little color so it almost looks like it isn’t there but it still looks great. I wear this one quite often just so that I don’t overpower my makeup.
This one surprised me. I thought it was going to be more on the orange side, but when it goes on it looks more pink. I use this one when I want just a little bit of color.
I was very impressed with these glosses. As I said earlier they are not sticky like most other brands and they don’t add too much color. They last a decent amount of time and leave my lips feeling moisturized even after they have faded away.

One of our new favorite beauty companies is Yves Rocher! They have so many wonderful products with great prices and they use the power of plants to create them! I was able to snag products for a Yves Rocher Flower Party by Night Review!
Flower Party by Night is a spin off of their original fragrance Flower Party. This fragrance is a mixture of Liquorice, Bitter Almond, Star Anise and Vanilla. The name totally fits for this perfume! It is definitely something that I would wear at night. To me it almost smells warm, which is great! Especially with the colder weather coming.
The perfume itself comes in a gorgeous bottle (one of the prettiest bottles I have ever owned)! I can spray myself with it in the morning and still smell it when I get home. I have been so used to using body sprays that the first time I used it I went a little overboard, but since then have learned to only spray a couple times and it is perfect! Not only is it a great perfume for night, but I love wearing this during the day too. It is not overpowering and I get compliments every time I wear it!
I was also able to score the matching Shower Gel and Body Lotion! The Shower Gel also smells amazing! I do wish it was a little more sudsy but it washes great and is quite relaxing! It also leaves my skin feeling soft. I have pretty dry skin so I need all the moisturizing I can get.
One thing that really surprised me is the Body Lotion. As I said, I have very dry skin so it is really hard to find a product that leaves my skin moisturized without leaving it oily. I have tried so many different products only to be let down or just not want to purchase it because of the price. I can honestly say that I have never used a lotion that has worked so well with my skin! Even my husband has commented on how softer my skin is!
I have yet to be disappointed with any of Yves Rocher’s products, which is amazing! Normally you can only find a couple products from each company that you like and most of those products fall in the same category like nails, face, or body. So far I have tried Makeup, Perfume, Shower Gel, Body Lotion and even facial products and they have all been amazing! I highly suggest that you check out some of their amazing products!
