I hate it when I’m trying to drink a smoothie or a milkshake and I can’t actually drink it because every time I suck on my straw it closes from the pressure. I always wished that there was a simple way to drink a milkshake without using a straw or waiting until it was partially melted which is never any fun. What if told you there is a better straw to use that not only helps you drink your milkshake, but is good for the environment to?
I received these glass straws from Glass Dharma as part of a review. I think their really awesome! Two of the straws have colored bumps on them and are regular sized straws. They also sent two larger straws, one of the larger straws has a bend in it just like the bendy straws a lot of us are used to drinking from. They have tons of different sizes, colors and designs, so you can get a straw to match your favorite cup.
Here is my favorite smoothie recipe to use with my Glass Dharma Straw
California Smoothie
Ingredients
- 7 large strawberries
- 1 (8 ounce) container lemon yogurt
- 1/3 cup orange juice
Directions
- Place strawberries in a plastic container and freeze for about an hour.
- In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, yogurt and orange juice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve with your favorite Glass Dharma Straw.

Those really thick milkshakes
Awesome review!
Plastic straws have been the most difficult disposable product to do away with. Whenever I eat out, I always request for no straw with my drink, but they almost always place a straw in my drink.
